How often should my dog be groomed?

It depends on the coat. Curly, non-shedding coats like cockapoos need the most upkeep, so we recommend four to six full grooms a year plus three to six wash, brush and tidy visits in between. That is what keeps the fluffy teddy bear look without the coat matting. Smooth, flat-coated breeds usually need less. Tell us about your dog at your first visit and we will agree a schedule that suits them.

What is included in a full groom?

Every full groom starts with a consultation and a basic health check, which is also your chance to tell us what you like and what you would rather avoid. From there it includes two shampoos chosen to suit your dog's coat condition, a supervised warm blow dry, removal of tangles and knots, a pawdicure with pads and paw trim, an ear cleanse, breed-specific styling and a finishing spritz of luxury cologne.

Can you groom my puppy, and from what age?

Yes, and the earlier the better. Our Puppy Spa package is made for puppies up to six months old as a gentle first introduction to being groomed. Coming in young helps your puppy get comfortable with being handled and with being around other dogs, which makes every groom after that much easier. Puppies go home with a gift bag and a voucher towards their next visit.
