Dog Grooming
Play Time - Dogs who visit the parlour will enjoy a groom, whilst also getting playtime with the other dogs. This is a great way to relax the dogs and make them feel at ease.
Bath Time - We use a new bathing system which premixes the water (at just the right temperature) with the correct amount of shampoo and conditioner whilst also allowing the dog to enjoy a full body water massage.
Drying - Before the dogs leave the bathing area they are thoroughly dried using professional, warm air dyers which are fast, effective and set to a comfortable heat for the dogs.
Clipping - Is a great way to ensure the coat is even all over. Using the clippers is best suited to dogs who have medium to long coats with normal hair type achieving an even finish.
Hand Stripping - We recommended most terriers and dogs who have harsh tougher hair get their coats hand stripped as part of their regular grooming routine. This is where the longer hairs are plucked from the coat leaving an even coloured, even textured coat.
Pawdicure - This is necessary for all dogs, especially dogs who walk mainly on grass. When your dog visits Perfect Pooch for a grooming, they will have their nails clipped, foot hair trimmed and oil massaged into paws.
Tartar Removal - No matter what diet you insist on, your dog will still need a helping hand with their teeth hygiene.
Ear Hygiene - Dogs can become very frustrated with sensitive, itchy ears. We carefully pluck the excess hair from the ear canal and remove any debris found. We also trim around and clean the ear - helping to alleviate the symptoms of sensitive ears.
